Bradford Hindu Council were honoured to be part of a special service today at Bradford Cathedral to mark the death of His late Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.
There was also a short multifaith gathering straight after the Cathedral Service in Centenary Square, Bradford, led by Bishop Toby Howarth. Remarkable Interfaith spirit in Bradford as always.
It was a beautiful service and was attended by distinguished guests :Right Reverend Toby Howarth Bishop of Bradford ,Reverend Jerry lepine , Dean of Bradford ,Kersten England, Chief executive of Bradford Metropolitan District Council ,Susan Hinchcliffe Councilor , Ed Anderson, Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire , Right Reverend Nick Baines Bishop of Leeds ,Lord Mayor Councillor Doreen Lee ,Sheriff of West Yorkshire Other faith leaders from the Sikh, Muslim and Jewish communities.

A Bradford woman has recounted meeting the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh when she was a child.
Disha Joshi, 23, handed the royal couple a bouquet of flowers as they officially opened a temple in the city in 2007.
Ms Joshi said: “Normally I would dread getting out of bed, however this morning I was absolutely thrilled.
“It was honestly very, very exciting. I spent the whole morning practising my curtsy.”
