Meals Donated-BHC-Police Covid 19 - Lockdown

During these Covid-19 Lockdown towns. A BRADFORD-based police officer, Dharmesh Mistry has co-ordinated efforts to provide meals for frontline colleagues during their night shifts.

PC Dharmesh Mistry, who is based at Trafalgar House, Bradford, wanted to make a difference during these difficult times and rallied the support of the Hindu community through the Bradford Hindu Council.

Families from all the Hindu Community have been stepping up to do their bit and cooking from home to ensure those who are working on the frontline can have a tasty home-cooked meal while working the night shift.

All police response teams in the Bradford district have been supported, as well as paramedics. They are now branching out to help colleagues in the NHS, Care homes as well frontline staff in Leeds.

Over 2000 curries and wraps have been made by the kind-hearted Hindu volunteers.
