The Bradford Hindu Council has been delivering home made food parcels for support workers at the Hollybank Trust Charity which provides care for severely disabled adults and children.
The Trust based in Mirfield and is a purpose built residential homes which provide help and support or adults and children with severe disabilities.
The meals for the Mirfield-based Hollybank Trust were provided by Bradford Hindu families and Prashad restaurant in Drighlington.
Like many others, the Bradford Hindu Council has been working hard throughout the Covid-19 crisis to support people in these challenging times. With Workers working around the clock under Covid -19 restrictions they deserved to be looked after.
It recently dished up meals for emergency nightshift workers and organised a huge delivery for the Bradford Metropolitan Foodbank.
Anna O’Mahoney, chief executive at the Hollybank Trust, said: “On behalf of our support workers I’d like to say a big thank you to the Bradford Hindu Council and Prashad restaurant for their kind donation of free meals.”
